We trace our origins to the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, where many years of research had focused on investigation of interstellar atmospheres. This research applied a series of techniques that eventually evolved into Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry, or SIFT-MS as it is more commonly known.
SIFT-MS is an analytical technology ideally suited to analysis of air samples for volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Its unique multiple reagent ion system delivers results not possible with other real-time techniques.
