If you can answer these questions with a “yes”, we would like to hear from you.
The software team at Syft is looking for an experienced software developer with excellent communication skills. Our workload is increasing with the development of our next generation of instruments together with a couple of major projects in the offing so we are looking a high quality developer to join us.
Our interviews are a two-way dialogue. We want to find, and employ, the best developer that we can but the interview is also an opportunity for you to find out if you want to work with us. We don’t go in for batteries of tests. We prefer to discuss candidates’ real-world problems and how they solved them. We don’t expect to find 100% of everything that we are looking but, if you are that rare individual, we will be only too happy to make you an offer.
You will be joining a small team of software developers working on a unique instrument that is destined to revolutionise the analytical instrument market. You will be working with specialists, engineers and technicians from a wide range of disciplines.
Our instruments are marketed globally and in fields such as scientific research, industrial processing, health care, security and petroleum exploration. These instruments combine software (embedded & application) and hardware (electronic, vacuum, mechanical & electrical) engineering, and the latest in ion chemistry.
