Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we took our annual European and North American user meetings online in July 2020 – with fantastic programs and great turnouts! Thank you to all the speakers who contributed to the success of these meetings – we couldn’t do it without you.

If you couldn’t make it to the live event, all is not lost! Over coming months we’ll be re-broadcasting selected presentations through our two educational channels – “Syft Application Talks” and “Syft Tech Talks” – depending on the type of material presented. Starting us off, we have a trio of environmental application presentations from the Wolfson Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratory at the University of York (UK) – including the eminent Professor Ally Lewis on 4 August. You can register here

At the user meetings we also launched our new online community of SIFT-MS enthusiasts. Please join us at!

What’s next education-wise with SIFT-MS?  In addition to our regularly scheduled Syft Application Talks and Syft Tech Talks, we are planning:

  • Online user forums for specific applications. These 90-120-minute events will start in November and run through to March.
  • 2021 SIFT-MS User Meetings for Europe and North America. They will likely be schedule for June 2021. The format (in-person and/or online) is yet to be decided.
