Syft Technologies invited customers from across North America to discuss their applications of Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry (SIFT-MS) in the food and flavor industry. Professor Sheryl Barringer (The Ohio State University) presented her research on in-mouth flavors and enzymatic reactions, Dr. Kurt Villwock described how he uses SIFT-MS in flavor development, while Anita Sisopha (Cavendish Farms) presented her finding on in-mouth flavor release. Finally, Dr Oscar Cabrices of Gerstel covered the wide range of applications and techniques that Gerstel automation offers.
Along with the food and open bar provided by the Wynn Hotel/Casino, attendees were able to chat amongst each other and talk one-on-one with our food-industry invited experts.
We would like to thank Gerstel and Quantum Analytics for co-hosting this event, as well as all attendees for making this such a successful and interactive seminar. We hope to see you again at our next event!
