Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry (SIFT-MS) eliminates chromatography by applying ultra-soft chemical ionization. In doing so, SIFT-MS analyzes gas and headspace samples instantly using chemical separation, rather than physical separation.

Chromatography-free operation coupled with multiple ionization mechanisms from eight instantly switchable reagent ions (H3O+, NO+, O2+, O, O2, OH, NO2, and NO3) enables extremely diverse compounds to be analyzed in one simple, seamless operation.
